2 year warranty with Neonful

At Neonful, we offer a two-year warranty on all neon signs we sell. Our goal is that our customers are always satisfied and have a neon sign that works as intended.

It could be argued that the Sale of Goods Act also includes a right of complaint, so there's nothing special about the warranty we give our customers. And while it's true that the Sale of Goods Act provides consumer protection, there are a few important things that make our warranty very relevant.

Not all defects give rise to a right of complaint under the Sale of Goods Act:

Firstly, the Sale of Goods Act states that not every defect in the goods is a defect under the Sale of Goods Act. It is only a defect if the defect or the reason for it existed at the time of purchase.

This means that with the Sale of Goods Act, you can basically end up in a discussion about whether something was an original mistake or something that happened later, while the product, highlighted here, has been with the customer.

At Neonful, we don't argue about it, we make sure the neon sign is either repaired or replaced, because it's our goal to collect happy customers.

The right of complaint under the Sale of Goods Act only applies to consumer purchases:

A very large proportion of our customers are businesses. Businesses are not protected under the Sale of Goods Act, as the rules we normally talk about in relation to the right to recycle only apply to private purchases. Business purchases are defined as commercial purchases and do not have the same protection rules.

Therefore, if we didn't have our own extended 2-year warranty at Neonful, all of our many business customers would have no real right of complaint. And of course, we don't want to do business that way. We are incredibly happy and proud of our many business customers, and it's only natural that they should have the same expectations and rights as our private customers. That's why we offer the same guarantee to them as we do to our private customers.

Neonful's two-year warranty extends much further, and applies to both residential and business customers.

All in all, we've gone a lot further than what the Sale of Goods Act stipulates and we give all our customers extra protection with our 2-year warranty on our LED neon signs. We don't argue about whether something is a relevant bug, we just make sure things work as we all expect. It may sound hollow to some when we emphasize our two-year warranty on our neon signs, but it's more than enough. We go far beyond what the law says.
