2 year warranty with Neonful

At Neonful, we offer a two-year guarantee on all the neon signs we sell. Our goal is that our customers are always satisfied and have a neon sign that works as intended.

It can be argued that the Purchase Act also contains a right of complaint, so there is nothing special about the guarantee we give our customers. And while it is true that the Sales Act provides consumer protection, there are a few key points that make our guarantee very relevant.

Not all defects give the right to claim under the Purchase Act:

Firstly, the Sale of Goods Act states that not every defect in goods is a defect under the Sale of Goods Act. It is only a defect if the defect or the cause of it was present at the time of purchase.

This means that with the Purchase Act as a starting point, you can end up in a discussion of whether something was an original error or something that happened later, while the goods, here the sign, have been with the customer.

At Neonful we don't discuss this, we make sure the neon sign is either repaired or replaced because our goal is to collect satisfied customers.

The right to complain according to the Purchase Act applies only to consumer purchases:

A very large part of our customers are companies. Companies are not protected by the Purchase Act, as the rules we usually talk about in relation to the right of return only apply to private purchases. Business purchases are defined as trade purchases and there are not the same rules of protection.

Therefore, if we did not have our own extended 2 year warranty at Neonful, all our many business customers would be without any real warranty. And of course, that's not how we want to do business. We are incredibly happy and proud of our many business customers, and for us it is only natural that they should have the same expectations and rights as our private customers. That's why we give them the same guarantee as our private customers.

Neonful's two-year warranty goes much further, and applies to both residential and commercial customers.

In other words, we've gone well beyond what the law requires, and we give all our customers extra protection with our 2-year warranty on our LED neon signs. We don't argue whether something is a relevant fault, we just make sure things work as we all expect. It may sound hollow to some when we highlight our two-year guarantee on our neon signs, but it's good enough. We go well beyond the legal requirements.
