Client case: Artist Michael Ahlefeldt
Michael Ahlefeldt is perhaps best known as the count and owner of Egeskov Castle on Funen, as well as co-owner of the festival Heartland. But he is also very much a performing and experimental artist. For a while he has been working a lot with simple and amusing ballpoint pen drawings, where his CoBrA inspiration is very evident.
Michael contacted us to see if we would work together to bring light into his artworks. The result is a series of stunning LED neon works, which are currently on display at In the Gallery in Dronningens Tværgade in Copenhagen under the title "Drawings to light".
We are extremely proud of the collaboration with Michael Ahlefeldt and especially of the seriously high quality results we have produced. It really does take accuracy and attention to detail to live up to the artworks' starting point, and indeed we've been around a lot of trials before we've arrived at the final result.
